It had been a long night for Eric Bischoff. However, it was all for a reason. Tomorrow, the biggest star in the history of pro wrestling would be signing with World Championship Wrestling. Finally, he would have the star to take on Vince McMahon and his WWF, which to most wrestling fans was synomomous with wrestling. Yes, Hulk Hogan would be in a WCW ring.
He finished the last swig of his water as he tried to sober up a bit. That last boilermaker almost did him in, but you did what you had to do when you were thousands of miles away from your wife and family. Sure, the twenty-three year old stripper was fun to play with, but it was time to hit the hay.
The lights go off and Eric falls quickly into slumber. But, he can't actually go to sleep. It seems every few minutes he hears almost random sounds, but it makes no sense. He's on the 45th floor in a $2,500/night suite. There's nobody even close to him. He sits up and reaches over into the mini-bar for another eight dollar bottle of water and goes to take a swig when the world suddenly stops for Eric Bischoff...
...because The Undertaker is standing in front of him. "OK, I'm obviously having a dream. This can't be happening."
A well-placed forearm to the forehead quickly makes Eric believe that this is in fact real. "What the -" Eric starts to say until he's simply grabbed by the neck and thrown to the ground. Then, the large gloved hands go over Eric's face and he starts seeing visions...

"What was all that?" Eric asks as he looks up at this spirit/figure/something?"
"The future if you continue on this path," is all the figure says, then he is gone.

In what has to be a bit of a surprise, negotiations between WCW & Hulk Hogan have fallen apart. It was thought to be a done deal between Hogan and WCW....
So, here we go. A world where Hogan never went to WCW.
